I showed leadership at fitness friends as I am a leader with my friends from grade three to help friends who need a helping hand.  It is our choice to go to fitness friends . Each week we give up three recesses to help our friends who aren’t as able as we are like our three people who need help Farris, Daniel and Pranav. They will need a helping hand once in a while. I am also a leader outside of school on my soccer team in the fall. I was one of the only grade fives on the team. I was the top goal scorer and I also scored a point every game.

 

My best memory was with my soccer team. My first game back from camping was the best soccer game I played, and it was the only game where I scored more than three goals (a hatrick). I was the cause of a goal in the second half, so that meant that Arnav’s team (my classmate) tied it up 2-2. I had to repay my team because they were not happy with me. I was annoyed with myself. The previous practice I had been messing during scrimage and I was saying ready freedy all the time. Five minutes from the end of the game still tied at two a piece, I stepped up my game and scored a goal and re payed my team. I wasn’t done there. I scored a corner kick and three more goals. I ended up with five goals and we won 7-2.

I like music because it is a time where it can help slow down your brain while you are entertained. I listen to music at home and on the radio on car trips.

I like to listen to pop music on the radio. I listen to it with my dad alot because we both enjoy it. I enjoy most songs on the radio and know most of the popular songs and the songs that are played regularly. Since I have started to listen to the radio more often I have come to appreciate music more than I used to.

1.Dark horse

I like Dark horse because it has no swear words, it entertains me and it is a very catchy song especially if you are accustumed to hearing it alot or it is in something you experience like me the movie Sea of monsters.

I like Where my diamonds hide because it is about minecraft (one of my favourite games). It is also good because it is a mixture of fast, loud, soft and slow. It also has a great beat.

This song is old but it is a song I heard very often because my mom had a CD with it on it and I eventually liked it so much because of the feelings it gave me (happy and relaxed).

My favourite things to do are play sports. I like playing soccer in the summer and the winter on a team. I play for North Mississauga Soccer Club- NMSC. I have played soccer in the summer three years in a row. My dream for soccer is to someday play on Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League. My previous teams have had many ups and downs from games to game. My best game and the game that I remember best was last summer when I was playing against My classmate Arnav’s team.  Go check out Arnav’s blog. We scored about ten minutes in to the game. They struck back and scored once. we scored just before the half time whistle. I gave the ball away and their player went on a breakaway and scored one minute into the game. the rest of the team was mad at me and said that I had to repay them. In the last ten minutes I scored a corner and four other goals. We had won 7-2 in the last game against them for the season!

 

Autism is a lifelong disorder. 1% of 100 people have autism. I have a friend who has autism who is great with technology like iPad’s. They are just as able as us.

It is very important to have your privacy settings on because it can possibly effect the out come of most of your life. If you don’t have your privacy settings on almost anybody can get their hands on information that could start rumors and lies about you and it could also make you laughing stalk especially in form grade 5 to the end of university or maybe for the rest of your life. If there is any information that could be used to embarrass you it is more important then that you have your privacy settings on but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t have your privacy settings on all the time. It is one of the things that most people do not pay attention to even though it is the most important thing on websites that can protect you from strangers getting a hold of personal information!

My family and I were going on a trip to switzerland because it was my uncle’s 50th birthday so he wanted to go to switzerland. At first only my dad would have gone but in the end we decided that my brother and I would go because it was a once in a lifetime experience. We left canada friday Febuary 7th 6:30 pm. We were going to fly to London,Heathrow airport that night. It was an 8 hour flight. We were flying with British airways and there service was very good.They had many servings to eat and drink as well as a t.v. screen for moives t.v shows or games.

We didn’t get much sleep and got to Heathrow tired and  it was 1 o’clock Canada time. We had no trouble sitting down and waiting for about 10 minutes. Our next flight to Geneva,switzerland wich was a 2 hour flight. We were  able to see the elps just before we landed. After that we went tothe train station to get on our 2 hour train ride to Sion. We had a veiw of the mountains on the train.

It was a very diffrent type of communitys like all the houses and farm pace. It’s houses were pink, yellow,green and the farm space was surrounded with barbedd wire. Sion was very dirty due to all the people who smoked and dropped their sigerets on the ground. On average 5 out of 7 people smoked in Sion. We decided to take a taxi up the mountain instead of waiting in Sion (wich had nothing to look at but the mountains) for 3 hours for the bus. We got a taxi and got up the mountain to our chalet in about half an hour. When we got there my uncle, his friend (who lives with him),my grandfather and my uncle’s friend from university had gone to get food. The only person their was my uncle’s friend in university’s wife. The shoppers got back in about 10 minutes caught up with south africa family news, watched some Olympics and waited while my mom and my uncle cooked.

We only started sking the first day wich didn’t go great. We were with dad and we found a ski lift and there wern’t any others so we decided to go up but when we got on we didn’t know that it was going to take us almost to the top. So we end up on really hard slopes where if you ski like you normally do in Canada you probaboly will hurt yourself. So it took us about an hour to get down because we went slowly section by section and when we got down we decided to go back to the chalet andwatched Olympics. My Grandfather was also going back so the four of us (my dad, grandfather, brother and I) stayed at the chalet the rest of the day. My mom was at the right place (because she got on to the bus) having a lesson and only came back at about 3:30 with my uncle. That night we watched some Olympics in french (french is switzerland main language) so we didn’t understand it, oh well.The four of us were sleeping in the loft wich had a slanted roof so you woul bump your head alot. It took us forever to fall asleep because of the time change so it was about about 4 o’clock pm Canada time. The time diffrence was six hours ahead of Canada time. The next morning we went with my mom and the rest of the pack . I got a lesson so that I was able to turn so that I would be paralell with where I was a second ago. The lesson was at 2 o’clock so I skied on the easier shorter slopes to practice. The lesson went well and after it I was able to turn so I was set for the next two days. When the people who ad the lesson got back we started to make my uncle’s cake and we were able to put it in the oven before my uncle got back.

My uncle only saw the cake when we brought it out for him to blow out the candles. We had it for dessert and thankfully none of them were big eaters but my brother and I so we ate most of the cake that night. Then we went to the pool for a while, no one was there but us so we had the whole pool for marco polo. When we got back we saw the Switzerland vs Latvia mens hockey game was on and I was not happy because it was a horrible game and the only goal that was scored in the game was in overtime by Switzerland. That night was the worst night of sleep that we had in Switzerland. It felt like we were still up 2 hours after we had gone to bed.

The third day was good, my dad and I went on the harder slopes the whole of that day. My brother and uncle went on the red while I was on the blue. We were on the slopes for  over five hours.

 

My thoughts on the movie Man of Steel are that I think it was very action packed between Superman and General Zod because of the voilence that they had between them. There were a lot of fights that included General Zods forces against Superman.

 

 

  I think the storyline was well written because it showed all Supermans major events in his earlier life on Earth and   Krypton. I was glad that they involved Supermans first real parents and that they showed how Jonathan Kent  (his father on earth)died because it is always involved in all the superman books. I was also glad that they showed what the parents of Superman (Jor-el and Laura) did to make sure he got to earth safley and was not stopped by Zod. It had some very funny parts that made me laugh out loud. I would give this movie 5 out of 5 stars because of the funny scenes/ humor,its action and storyline.
